How much does a desert safari in Dubai cost?

pp = per person. Private prices are for the whole vehicle, up to 6 people.
What changes the price
- Shared or private. Shared trips put up to 6 people in each 4x4. A private vehicle costs more in total, but it can work out similar per person for a group of five or six.
- Time of day. Morning safaris are shorter and do not include dinner, so they cost less. Evening safaris add the camp, sunset, a BBQ dinner and live entertainment.
- Dune bashing or not. The evening camp drives out smoothly with no dune bashing. It suits anyone who gets car-sick, young children and older travellers.
- Overnight and balloon trips are seasonal. The overnight camp runs October to April, and balloon flights run October to May, weather permitting.
What is usually included, and what is not
Included on our desert trips: hotel pickup and drop-off in central Dubai (Downtown, Marina, JBR, Deira, Bur Dubai), the 4x4 and driver, water and soft drinks, and the camp activities listed on each page. On the evening trips that means a camel ride, sandboarding, henna and a BBQ dinner with vegetarian and halal options.
Not included: alcoholic drinks, gratuities and quad biking on the evening trips (you can book it at the camp). Every experience page lists its exact inclusions.
How to choose in one minute
- On a budget, or visiting between June and September: take the morning safari. You are back before the worst of the heat.
- Travelling with toddlers or anyone who dislikes bumpy rides: take the evening camp.
- On your first trip, and you want the classic version: take the red dune safari.
- Celebrating something: take the balloon flight or the overnight camp.

Is dinner included in a Dubai desert safari?

Prices are shown before 5% UAE VAT. The VAT and your group total are shown before you send a request and again before you pay.
When do I pay?
You request a slot first. Nothing is charged until the operator confirms it, and then a secure payment link is sent by WhatsApp or email.
